Witryna5 kwi 2024 · Abstract. Health care providers hold negative explicit and implicit biases against marginalized groups of people such as racial and ethnic minoritized populations. These biases permeate the health care system and affect patients via patient-clinician communication, clinical decision making, and institutionalized practices. WitrynaAs of January 1, 2024, Assembly Bill 241, requiring the inclusion of content addressing implicit bias, is in effect. The Continuing Medical Education (CME) team at the California Medical Association (CMA) has developed a set of standards, best practices and additional resources to assist CME providers to implement these statutory requirements.
