WebEar wax, or cerumen, is naturally produced by the ear and plays a role in keeping our ears clean and protected from dust, bacteria and other microorganisms. In most cases, blockage of the ear canal with wax is a harmless event. Earwax is quite harmless and a normal part of the body's self-protection mechanism.
